Supposedly we are shaking in our shoes at this appointment going by social media .

not being complacent but more than confident in our clubs attitude to the upcoming season that we will continue our progress of the last 3 seasons and strengthen our squad regardless of them appointing a former Bournemouth and Burnley manager.

He will improve them but Gerrard will also improve us in the summer with the aim of making us ready for a go at the champions league.

Speak for yourself ,I’m absolutely bricking it 😂

It’s a whole new regime they have now ,Manager ,captain and CEO .A complete rebuild needed with limited funds and players leaving on reduced fees due to entering final year of their contract .

Huge job .So long as we keep our eye in the ball we will have them looking for another new manager this time next year .

You don’t deserve a single thing  Your focus has been on rangers UEFA license rather than your playing squad   Your demise has cost you a potential £30 million in champions league money

Fuck knows where they get these "general consensus" from 😂 guys probably a decent manager but you look at what hes coming into,

A large number of first team players going away with others being uninterested.

A new huge weight of pressure and expectations from a massive fan base

A reduced budget from what he'll be use to down south

And his rivals just got off their biggest win in over a decade and are on a high, players are secured, settled and hungry for more success.

The odds are stacked against them, its time for celtic to chase us. And we need to keep it that way, this coming season is just as if not more important. That champions league money from automatic group entry is massive and it also shows this season wasnt a fluke.

Oh for fuck sake

Let me guess... he turned down Barca et al for the role with his beloved Celtic?

Second coming of big jock.

Media are still reeling about 55, cunts will be desperate for them to somehow win it back.

They won't but and it will be fantastic to watch.

The same weirdos who think sevco, first league title, #oneclubsince1888 etc bother us

Must be a coping mechanism or something

He'll be better than Lennon and will put up more of a challenge.

We have time on our side as they need to re-build. We just need to maintain our focus and drive towards another title.

The 150th Anniversary and a chance to win 56/qualify for the CL is all the motivation the team need.

Yeah absolutely terrified 😂😂

They think they are getting Rodgers 2.0 with this appointment. He'll likely get them playing better stuff but won't be surprised if he struggles against the 10 behind the ball approach of teams and the scums unrealistic demands.

I'm fully confident we'll go from strength to strength after winning the league. Gerrard isn't just looking to win the league like that lot, he wants us progressing further in Europe as well. That drive is what will keep us ahead of them no matter who they go for.

Homesick in Burnley he won’t know what’s hit him in Glasgow.

Burnley is an absolute shitehole with very little to offer, Glasgow is the exact opposite with loads of stuff to do when not concentrating on football.

That said, it's a bit of a myth he got homesick and he simply wanted to be near the rest of his family after his mum passing away I think.
