The delusion in them is unreal. They genuinely belive they can assemble a new sqaud in the summer and come out flying.

The reality is going to hit them like a ton of bricks.

They ain't in the position to do an Advocaat. Even having sheer luck in bringing in a decent manager that then buys decent players who gel together rapidly still means they have to play catch up.

They are now a 3/4 year project with a 6 month fan expectation. All the signs of disaster.

The inevitable frenzy surrounding Howe if he’s announced is going to make 56 all the more sweeter. An expensive mistake.

It appears to be only scum assuming that Howe is coming. Personally I could not care. Howe does not have a great managerial record but he is an undoubted improvement on the current caretaker.

Their CL qualifier is around 3 months away. Whoever gets that gig will have mountains to move and will be given no time. Immediate success or scum will be calling for heads to roll.

Gerrard's rebuild was a failure ! Where do you start with that. Gerrard inherited mostly dross, got rid of as much deadwood as he could and started to rebuild. From the bushes of Luxembourg to the group stages in season 1. Season 2 and 3 last 16.

Every year we have improved the squad which culminated in winning the league by a country mile in record time. We will improve again this summer.

Their new manager will inherit mostly dross and has a huge task to close up on us. Recruitment will be key for them and their record there is a source of much amusement. There may be no such thing as a realistic member of the scum support but if there was, said member would be writing off next season as the rebuild begins and look for signs of improvement.

The season before we hired SG, septic won the league over Rangers by 12 and Aberdeen by 9 and went out of the Europa League in the round of 32, with Rodgers as coach. septic has to hire a coach and start their rebuild off the back of losing the league by 20+ points to a Rangers team that has gone to the Europa League round of 16 two seasons in a row. septic was already a worse squad than Rangers are now when SG started his rebuild.

Spot on!

Apparently our expectations aren't as high as their own. Fucking bonkers:lol:

Apparently Christie's contract expires in January, not next summer.

wtf

Says hes out of contract in December so can talk to clubs in June. Pretty big mistake to make by Lawwell and just cut his transfer value by more than half.

Can't wait to see the "warchest" they get from flogging Eduoard and Ajer with only a year left. No cunt is paying anything over the odds for them.

The 'warchest' will be nothing like their tame 'journalists' report. It will be along the lines of 12M for pingpong which nobody ever paid in a million years. All about selling ST's and giving the gullible something to believe in.

Did I totally miss the news when Hammond quit as their transfer chief?

What a colossal failure he was. Pity he quit, could've done with another window or two of his catastrophic signings.

I broke this news a few days before it happened due to well placed sources

Sign him for a laugh and then immediately sell him.

What's happening with that young Dembele kid that was the next Pele for a while? Let's get him too.

I wouldn't take him on a free. Genuinely an awful footballer.

JOHN KENNEDY is in the frame to become Celtic’s sporting director.

SunSport understands the Hoops want interim boss JK to work closely with top target Eddie Howe who remains on course to become Neil Lennon’s permanent successor this summer.

😂😂😂 Kennedy as sporting director. I really want to know what this guy has if he can go from failed coach to a sporting director.

Clearly John Kennedy has real dirt on these cunts😂

JOHN KENNEDY is in the frame to become Celtic’s sporting director.
SunSport understands the Hoops want interim boss JK to work closely with top target Eddie Howe who remains on course to become Neil Lennon’s permanent successor this summer.

Manchester City’s Fergal Harkin also remains under consideration for the sporting director role.
It now appears unlikely Bournemouth technical director Richard Hughes will be heading north.
That will be a big blow for Howe, but it’s not thought to be a deal-breaker for a Parkhead switch this summer.
It’s been a month since the ex-Cherries boss met Hoops supremo Dermot Desmond, chief executive Peter Lawwell and his successor Dominic McKay in London.

Celtic fans excited over the prospect of Howe being appointed have started to grow restless over the lack of news.
But he has spent that time speaking to contacts in the game and doing his homework on the Hoops.
Howe, 43, has been quietly planning his backroom staff, with current Bournemouth coaches Stephen Purches and Simon Weatherstone prominent in his thinking.
The identity of those who come in to improve the recruitment department is also vital to Howe’s plans to transform the club.
He’s keen to have key assistants committed to joining him before official confirmation of his move north.
Desmond has promised him substantial transfer resources and full authority over his staff.
It’s expected that Howe will have a £2million-a-year salary.
The board also values Kennedy, 37, who has been at Parkhead since 1998. He went from player to coach, to No 2 and is now stand-in boss.

JK was in the frame to become director of football while Brendan Rodgers was boss in 2019.
Kennedy will stay in charge for the final three games against Rangers, St Johnstone and Hibs.
With a new boss coming in, he had indicated he could decide it’s finally the right moment for him to head elsewhere.
Asked last week if that could be a possibility Kennedy, a one-time Hibs target, confessed: “Yeah, it might.
"But I’m genuinely not stressed about what the future holds for me.”
Now the future looks set to involve a step upstairs and a key role in a new-look football department at Parkhead.
