There must be something going on if this is the level of player/staff they are looking at.

They are skint, their accounts were horrific last time, will be probably worse this time as they have the refunds to account for during the season, plus absolutely no walk up matchday income

Even without the external potential liabilities, they were running at something like 80 odd mill a year to run their club, they boom or busted last summer for the 10iar which didnt happen, and they hsve low value high wage assets that as of now no cunt wants

Desmond hasn't put in a penny this year, we'd be kinda the same boat without our board doing more share issues (not as bad as our outgoings are way less plus we took in way more euro money than they did)

They owe 30mill on players, probably have very little due in transfers out, they likely smashed their overdraft with the co-op they took out just before xmas

I believe they also have a deferred £6million tax liability to deal with…

This is a c and p of the online article, notice the dates fucking amateur's at the DR.

Sviatchenko, under contract until 2014, is understood to have a buy-out clause at Midtjylland while there is also believed to have been interest in him from the English Premier League.

I take it hospitality as part of the matchday experience accounts for a lot of their money? I'm a complete novice with this kinda stuff.

Tims will struggle IMO.

They will be happy that they got the "easiest" team they could havefrom the draw but the tie is only 1 month away and they dont have a squad

Just Googled and it seems like Midjtylland are also going through a bit of turmoil with numerous first team players wanting away / having interest in them

Would be nice to see them get pumped out though

Caught their begging letter of an advert on Clyde last night for season ticket sales. Even more cringey than their past efforts for strip sales and Europa League ticket packages.

A club built to last 🤣🤣

Last season they asked for the hospitality up front, same as we did apparently (never knew that till this week) but im sure their post tainted 9 accounts claimed that their walk up matchday income was actually quite a bit of their income, so that loss plus 30k partial refunds will absolutely hammer them this year

They wont admit it, they never do, but they are skint, well and truly skint

Very disappointed they drew the Danes tbh.

Finished second behind Brondby and their star players are leaving or want out.

Still very capable of defeating the scum, but Galatasary would definitely have knocked them out.

Aye, I read a few of their players are wanting out. Pish

Tbf we have one as well, probably every club does

Still funny to see them try and pay it though, they are genuinely rooked

They have a strong market capitalisation and below-average gearing (for football clubs). They could easily go to market and raise £10m+ tomorrow if they wanted to, or go to a bank and convert their current liabilities to longer term debt.

The problem is that would only serve as an additional distraction to them and they are in total turmoil on the football side of things.
