Listening to their games in the deep African rainforests https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/114715/NGuemo-went-radio-ga-ga-over-Celts-as-kid NGuemo went radio ga-ga over Celts as kid LANDRY NGUEMO has revealed he listened to radio coverage of Celtic games in Cameroon as a kid and dreamed of what it must be like to play at Parkhead. 00:00, Sat, Jul 18, 2009 Ngembo dreamed of celebrating with Celtic when he was just 5 The 23-year-old midfielder, signed on a year’s loan from French side Nancy, was brought up in the little-known town of Dschang and recalled how he used to tune into Hoops matches as a football-daft youngster. He admits Celtic Park became a magical fortress in a distant land and he can’t believe his career, which started when he left Africa for France as a raw 15-year-old, has now brought him to the east end of Glasgow. NGuemo said: “This is like a mythical place. When I was growing up I always heard about Celtic and I was very flattered when I got the call to come here. “My mum and dad would tell me about football, but I also listened to games involving Celtic on the radio. As far as I am concerned, they are one of the biggest clubs in the world.” NGuemo became known at Nancy for preparing for big matches by jigging around the dressing-room to the sound of African music. He plans to bring some of those tribal beats to Parkhead, but admits there’s another new addition to the changing-room who beats him hands-down when it comes to making shapes on the dancefloor. NGuemo laughed: “Why not bring some of my music to Celtic? African music is very joyful and positive. It makes you happy and can only create a positive environment. “Marc-Antoine Fortune is a better dancer than me, though.” Fortune arrived at Celtic from Nancy recently in a £3.8million deal and NGuemo believes having his ex-team-mate in Glasgow with him will be a major help. He said: “Marc-Antoine and I are counting on each other to help each other, especially with the language.” Former Rangers manager Paul Le Guen has just taken over as Cameroon’s national coach and NGuemo hopes to impress him through his performances for the Hoops. Le Guen got his fingers badly burned by underestimating the challenges of Scottish football and NGuemo may well seek a few words of wisdom from the Frenchman as he plots out his own career here. He said: “Why not ask him for advice? I know there are big expectations here from the fans because of the size of this club and that’s normal.” Celtic have an option to buy NGuemo at the end of his loan spell and the player wants to make that happen. He insisted: “I am going to do everything I can to stay here beyond the year’s loan.” TheKingObv, BlueAvenger, demise and 3 others

siamthedanger 2,830
That's a blow for them, he's been their best player so far this season. FIFA HQ better be on the lookout for sharks and banners.

Yep that’s all in the league and he’s being built up even by some Rangers fans as the second coming of Pele. Pretty sure Ajeti had a better goal record after a few games when he first joined and was a superstar. Clunge and scottyscott1963

Makes him out to be a great player when he really ain't. Couldn't give a fuck if he was injured or not, ain't going to make a difference to us. He's pretty much thier only viable striker. Ajetti is wank and this new Greek guy hasn't kicked a ball for about 6 months. Think he's had the equivalent of 16 full games in his career.
