They have spent no money on players and have effectively given up on the CL.

scum accounts will be horrendous. Ours will be bad as well but we had covid insurance and they did not which will help our bottom line.

The only reason they broke even last year was the tierney sale, 

Last summer they were running at a 24mill loss in a season where they banked full european ticket sales and had a good chunk of walk up matchday sales, that summer they went all in for 10, added to the squad, never sold anyone and then spent a year without a single walk up ticket sale including the loss of maybe what 15mill overall in home ticket sales (including europe) they also deferred their tax bill last year to this year AND paid back 30k ST refunds, even at 50 quid a pop thats still 1.5mill

Even if they have raked in 18mill in sales (its not, even 11 for frimpong and 3.5 for klimala thats onky 14.5mill)that covers their covid losses, what about their regular loss they made without covid (the 24mill they would have posted the previous season and their deferred tax bill 

Ive not said once they will go into admin, their board are too minted (tight but minted) to allow their shareholding to be pissed into the wind, but its clear to see they are skint, they adopted the murray "lets spend before we get it" mantra due to us being in the shit, with the idea they would qualify for the CL 2 out of every 3 years,

Cook's and book's is what I say to this, they are not way ahead of us financially now, our squad has overtaken theirs interms of value and if we make the cl group's this season and they don't and then win this season championship, we will have well and truly put them in our rear view mirror for the foreseeable.

I'm not disagreeing that Covid and their high wage bill has really hurt them, I just don't agree it's as bad as made out and that they are skint. The scums wage bill has decreased and will even more when Ajer and Edouard leave. The good news is the replacements are not going to be the same standard.

The point here is the scum will be okay financially in the short-term especially if they sell those two, this summer they will be able to spend a decent amount. However it's obvious they will concentrate on having a smaller squad with a much smaller wage bill and if we continue to win the league in the next two years they won't be able to spend high on players but it's never going to be the case that the scum are so skint they will solely rely on loans or frees etc.
