It’s Ange’s philosophy, attack, attack. They do look good going forward but as everyone and their granny pointed out they leave themselves open to the counter and that’s exactly what happened. Play like that period it will be right mixed bag irrespective of who they bring in. So open it's unbelievable. Will win a few games heavily but will also come unstuck a good few times and teams will figure them out 2nd round of fixtures. So similar to us with Warburton. He likes this expansive attacking football but most cunts in this league suffocate the pitch in the final third. It's taken Gerrard and his team a few years to crack it. No doubt he'll be hoping that they just outscore the opponents, even if it's 4-3 and 5-4s but could easily see it playing out like we used to be.
