Getting a lot of Pedro vibes with their transfer approach. No long term thinking. Can they fit a system, can't they adapt to the league etc. Just get them in so they can say they signed someone.

This is another area we're miles ahead of them in. We're focused on adding players that can fit into our system. Right away you can see where Lundstrum and Sakala will fit in and how comfortable they looked in our 11 at the weekend.

For a club who had pretty much a stringent transfer policy which if we are all honest worked for them (profit wise) they have basically abandoned it and gone pretty scattergun in their approach.

Japanese guys, 32 year old Italians, a 5ft 7 defender when defending is a huge issue. A Swedish guy struggling in Russia.

Only the sheff Wed boys and the Israeli even remotely fit what they usually do

Just looked @troikadeus up on Twitter and he’s actually a bear.
Why post shit like that?! :ang:

It's the gen-z weirdo kids that setup these weird 'fan accounts' who troll other team's tweets with the same copy & paste nonsense to try and provoke people into a response.

Look at literally any tweet from any premier league club in the top 6 and you'll see what I mean. Example here:

I'd be pleased if they signed Hart because it would clearly signify there isn't any joined-up thinking in their footballing department whatsoever. At one point, they probably did get fairly close to appointing a knowledgeable Director of Football who would oversee Howe, but now they've got that trampy old pirate Desmond force-feeding the 'Antipodean Ancelotti' whatever overpaid, over-the-hill players he can find, even if they fundamentally don't fit 'Ange's masterplan'.

It's just brilliant.

They are now past the point of getting the players through the door that they would like. Gtting players in to suit how the manager would LIKE to play is irrelevant and well past the point (he never realistically had any chance of that happening this season anyway), they are now at the point where they need to get anyone in who will be happy with Europa League football (at best) and fighting for 2nd place in the league. Domestic cups are out the window as well.

So that rules them out from signing any Jobs or Sheep players unless it's for ridiculous money and wages.

Can't wait for Saturday
