If they really are skint, which seems to be the case right now, they will definitely add loans to their team. Probably awaiting EPL players list, so see who drops out. As for GK, i wont be surprised if they try to bring Siegrist or even Gordon on the cheap.

No fucking danger is the Conference a walk over. Will be some right good teams when you get to the later stages.

If a Scottish team was to win it, it would be a big achievement.

People kinda shit on it because its the 3rd choice tournament, but this is pretty unfair, it will still be competitive.

Think it's a joke you can get knocked out cl and europa and still be in this

People used to say the same about getting knocked out of the CL and going into the Europa, but the landscape has changed so much that its just ridiculously imbalanced with the teams from the top 5 leagues just steamrolling cunts out the way to get into the CL and now Europa.

This new competition will give more clubs a chance for 'Europe' not to just mean a few glorified friendlies to be over before their season actually starts.

Ridiculing it is silly. As it will give leagues around Europe something to aim for, some extra cash and some prestige to attract players who might like the idea of competing in a league that can offer continental football, not just to go and warm the bench for a mid tier spanish/italian/english/german/french team.

And more chance of getting fucked over in the league due to not having a big enough squad.

Take Aberdeen or Hibs: give them an extra 10 games to play a season and they would be fucked, all for an extra couple of £100k in the bank that would be used up in travel and hotel costs.

Europa conference won't be worth it financially.

You get a base fee of 3m euros for playing in the Conference League, before any extra payments for results.

You get similar money in the conference as you do in the Europa.

Edit: Oh, and that does not include the TV money.

Yeah is the money not supposed to be quite decent,  not the gulf there is between el and cl

Can't understand scum fans. Nothing new there as I never have. They are only 3rd bottom so not in a relegation spot just yet.

Better to concentrate on the their upcoming tie with the Czechs before they drop into the conference play offs. But we live in their heads.

Only if you get to the group stage. The likes of Aberdeen, Hibs and st.johnstone won't be getting there when the likes of Tottenham come in at the last qualifying round.

€100k for playing in QR1 +(€150k euros if knocked out at this stage) and a further €100k if they get to QR2 (+€350k if knocked out here).

Should they get knocked out in QR3 then they'll bag about €850k.

So a decent purse for the above teams but that won't be worth it for the other lot.
