Seems they couldn't give him the vaccine because the old lad had been struck with pneumonia first.

To be honest I don't grudge him a last holiday with his family. Hope he enjoyed it.

I would do the same tbh, the thing is, with covid theres alot who have already been their last holiday last year or even 2019.

Agree with you completely mate and don't really want to get into an argument about it.

Think that what he did for the NHS and what you'd probably describe as national morale outweighs the risks he put other people under by going to Barbados. Of course there shouldn't usually be one rule for him and another for others. Just think this bloke qualifies as something of an exception.

Ultimately it's not been a smart move though as it's cost him his life.

Nice touch but is he all that?

Why would a family take their 100 year old loved one on a trip to Barbados in a global pandemic?

The NHS isn’t a charity where did the £100m go? Not a penny was used here in Scotland.

Fair play had a great life but bears den??

On one hand you ask where the money went and on the other hand you state not a penny came to Scotland. How the f**k do you know that after your first question. Get a life.

Should we not put anything about armed forces day at Ibrox in here either? Ridiculous post tbh, expect to see that on a tarrier site.

He is a war hero first and foremost. It’s because of people like Captain Tom that we enjoy the very freedom we enjoy today. He fought to give us the privileges we have today. He was willing to give all for us, the next generation.

Secondly he raised £33m not £100m and how do you know Scotland have not received any of it? Has Nicola said that?

Lastly Bears Den because if Rangers want to tweet about a veteran who did so much good then I felt it was good enough to post in the Bears Den.

Nice reply to a crass/ignorant statement from a troll.
