No one should be above being dropped and he keeps making the same mistakes defensively.  He's been off form for a while now.  Maybe a rest will do him good and someone explaining game management to him.

Gerrard needs to realise that you are not going to replace the qualities of Davis and Jack by brining in an English Championship player and guy from a team that got relegated in France last season. Why he felt the need to do that only he knows. Turns out our squad maybe isn’t as strong as we thought. Sloppy on the ball and a lack of hunger throughout the team today. Front three disappointing overall again and in hindsight tinkering with the midfield was a poor decision. Jack and Davis need to start every game. And although Hamilton deserved their point we should have buried them after we went a goal up. Need a big response from us next game after that shit-show.

Comments like this show that you don’t really know how the fuck we play football. How do you think Tav has the stats he has this year? Why is he being talked about as POTY? The reason we play with two defensive midfielders is because it’s their job to cover him when he goes, been happening for a long time. Team selection was totally wrong from the start, it gave Hamilton hope as the game went on.

Can't say Hamilton didn't deserve something from that game. They were really at it in that second half. 

Too many of our players under performing. Would probably have been a different story if Jack and Davis had started that game but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

The style has got us where we are this season. It allows us to dictate possession and play the game we want.

The level of performance shown by 4 or 5 today was what cost us full points. We didn't control the game for the vast majority of it. Why is it any of the few times we dont win you pipe up about systems but don't when we win? 🤣
