There’s been far too much short term thinking at this club over the past 20 years or so, we need to start having a longer term plan and continues success in Europe is vital to that plan. I know how important the league title is but anybody who would willingly sacrifice Europe, purely because it means we might have to wait a week or two longer to confirm that we have won the league, isn’t thinking about the bigger, longer term picture.
