They are young adults. They broke the law. 

I have a bit of sympathy for them, we live at a time where young folk are now probably the biggest carriers but have the most resistance due to age, this has created an attitude with some, they are pushing boundaries, they are not as frightened as they should be, and they are not as restricted as they should be by their peers. 

The punishment for this will have a severe effect on their lives. And those around them.

They will have been tested for covid on a regular basis and on game days, so they will have known they did not have symptoms. However that is no excuse either, as there is a constant threat of contracting it, carrying it and passing it on. They will be punished by the club, the authorities and by the let down they created for the club and its fans.  And their promising futures are no longer in their own hands. All very stupid and sad. 

Hopefully others will learn from this, and I expect the club will be hammering down the message to everyone again, first thing tomorrow morning.
