Edmundson/Jones were caught on the Saturday night by the plod & I think it all came out about 9am on the Sunday morning, it would've been brought to our PR's attention early doors and they jumped on it. We suspended both players early doors & dealt with it very well.

The fact we waited till 9pm, said very little when we did mention it & are now waiting till Monday morning at the earliest to say anything else is a bit strange, especially since we got praised for how we dealt with a very similar situation last time...

 

In the Jones and Edmundson case we played on a Sunday against Killie and they went out that night (Sunday night/Monday morning). There was no training the next day but we released a statement before 12pm on the Monday to say they’d been suspended.

But whoever it was involved, what the fuck where they thinking. They have already seen what happened with jones and Edmundson. Why take the risk and potentially risk teammates health and safety. It's unforgivable.

Aye so similar to yesterday then? We played yesterday afternoon, they went out last night & there was no training today.

You'd have thought after last time we'd have been right on it this morning to suspend the players & hopefully get a similar outcome. The fact we waited till late tonight to put out that basic statement makes me think there's more in it this time, either someone else involved we don't know about or something else.

Yeh this is what I was kind of getting at earlier, the fact they hadn’t made a statement made me initially think it possibly wasn’t as serious as what the other two had done. However, on the basis that there was supposedly 10 fines issued (source is a poster on here who is ITK) then club may well be doing a thorough investigation as it may not be quite as clear so quickly what occured.

We have had a lot of good posters just stop posting over the last 6 months or so, and a few got banned, so always good to see someone returning 

Enjoying this season with how it is going, obviously would be better if we were  at Ibrox but just wanting to get it over the line now and it will be one of the best titles ever because of what we have all gone through.

They would have been moronic doing this while playing for any SPFL team.

But, within touching distance of glory and a title that so few players ever get the chance to win, to risk it for ANYTHING is something that no Rangers fan will never understand in a million years.

Add to that, they’ve already had the clearest indication of the club’s position (and the minimum consequences in the way Edmundson and Jones were dealt with) so they knew exactly the risk they were taking. The club will crucify them and rightly so.
