The vast majority of people aren't 'elite athletes' who have specific exemptions to allow them additional leeway

They've just witnessed a few months back what happened to a couple of their own teammates when they broke the rules.

What happens if they don't get caught, come to training and something comes to light a few days later, fucking hell, think of the repercussions on that one with Europe around the corner.

Then there's the unnecessary level of scrutiny and shite that'll get flung at the club for ''another'' breach. Like we need to give the media up here any excuse.

They are not kids and they've been subject to less than the normal man, they still can go and play football everyday with their pals.

It is ll relative. Two of the four have a negligible value. The other two are all potential and have done nothing of note in the game. The list of players you named are all full internationals, playing PL and CL football consistently.
