They get chauffered around in minibuses following the lorry, so that slows it all down. Green bins getting collected every three weeks now, rats are going to love this.

Especially when most people don't make an effort to use the recycle bins. Some struggle to use the green bins properly ffs.

SNP  council at their best.

The cemeteries in the city are a fucking disgrace

Headstones toppled over, graffiti, litter everywhere

Council don't care because it's not Rangers. Everyone wants their moment in the limelight

Think thats also down to society and their disassociation with church/religion/culture. Most cemeteries and church yards are shitholes, they dont have any priority really today.

Perhaps, yes, and there is a noticeable difference between religious cemeteries with some taking better care of it than others (in line with what you are suggesting) - but the council is ultimately responsible for the upkeep of cemeteries, parks etc. If they don't want that responsibility then they should sell the land to religious groups or private investors but they won't do that because they make a killing out of every plot they sell.

It was accidental, no malice

They should also have been removed in advance ,They knew something was likely to happen ,Even Sunday afternoon while the police were escorting the fans to the square they could have had 2 on call council workers out with a socket set and a van and removed them .It doesn’t take 10minutes to walk from Ibrox to the city centre .

Unless of course 😉

When there’s been years of SNP “austerity “ the whole place has taken a slide ,cemeteries are bound to suffer the most .
