They had 2 shots on target and we had 1.

Our red cards obviously ficked us up. 

Hurts like he'll to lose but I truly think we were the better team until the Red cards.

I will sleep well tonight knowing our players played their best with integrity.

Their players are an embarrassment to football!

You can't  call that sport.

We started looking busy, but then didn't show the quallity of fast, flowing, passing football that we have done when at our best. With very little sign of any penetrative intent or ability. We created hardly any clear cut chances. So simply not our best in either leg. But we were still in it until the Roofe incident, which was just a commited footballer being unlucky, pumped up, which is exactly what we needed at this point. It was unlucky, not malicious - just football. That first red then placed us under massive stress and we were always going to be chasing shadows after that.

But lets all step back and remind ourselves what another great campaign this has been. Take a moment to be grateful to everything the team has given us on this stage of the journey. This EL campaign is yet another brick in the wall of our club's recovery. Not forgetting that tonight we also secured the all-important 11th coefficient place,  as both Ukranian teams lost and went out tonight. A massive achievement, basically deliverd solo by us, as all othet SPL teams bottled it.

So let's focus on so many positives and the prepearation to retain OUR Champions Trophy next year. This can provide us with the pathway to automatic CL qualification. The preperation starts with beating them, along with their entourage of hand-picked, corrupt officials, this weekend...

Lets Go!.... AGAIN!!!

Gerrard went a spoke directly with their black player at full time, can only assume he was asking him how he would have felt to be on the receiving end of the comment. Their player looked awkward and then went a spoke with their manager.
