Fergie_6 1,078 Posted March 30, 2021 Share Posted March 30, 2021 Wee man is excellent, looked likely that he would be sold last summer, when we signed Itten & Roofe but thankfully it wasn’t to be, his overall play has improved this season, he has been more of a team player, a think that’s what Gerrard and the coaches have worked on with him, he’s took it in and listened to the benefit of himself and the team, another transfer window coming up, possible champs league football, we know he wants to play at a higher level of league and he will eventually, hopefully he decides to stay for one more season at least, as he is vital to the way we play especially in Europe, were qualification could beat any transfer fee we would receive for him. Even if you exclude frees (Weir, Jack, Davis McGregor etc), Kamara might have a say (£65,000) or even the 200k spent to bring Tav and Waghorn to Ibrox six years ago. For that combined fee, we got two players : sold one for nearly a million and got a smashing captain as well. In terms of profit, Alfie will generate at least ten times what we paid imo.
