We’ve clearly appealed to play Patterson on Sunday cos Tav is injured.

This is so not true.

I would be surprised if Tav kicks a ball again this season (started training on his own)

Not true. The announcement came out on Monday. We have lawyered up and four days later found reasons to appeal that have nothing to do with our captain being injured. That would be a waste of money.

You're in for a shock.

Of course it is ffs.  They went absolutely through all the players in statements and made them issue video apologies to everyone.

Like I just edited to Goat, I'm not convinced Tav plays again this season. The appeal is not a delay tactic waiting for Tav's recovery.

There's 7 weeks left in the season and he's back training. I think he'll probably play sooner than that.

It makes absolutely no sense to appeal this just so Patterson can play against Cove Rangers ffs.

Puts him at risk of being suspended for a later tie against harder opposition. Tav could have a setback.

The players were stupid. I was raging because it happened at a critical time in our journey to 55, this could have cost us if any tested positive.

However, the ones from other teams that breached health protocols had no football sanction imposed. This is the area needing addressed.

How long do these appeals normally take?

Whenever the SFA get their finger out and do something. By the looks of this they weren't expecting us to appeal so might take a while for them to get their shit together.

When asked why we are appealing one word will do.

Dubai!

Nutshell.

Why are players who socialise and fail to adhere to Covid protocols punished if it happens in Glasgow but breaches are overlooked if they happen abroad?

100%

We should have appealed the 7 games for Jones and Edmundson on the basis of the less severe punishment s for worse offences by Bolingoli and the sheep squad, or no punishments for the thumb, ping pong and the big tarrier defender from DUFC but (semi-understandably) took it on the chin and noted the severity and the precedent.

For multiple breeches to be admitted by Kennedy (then denied by TLB lol) to then be swept under the carpet is a joke and needs exposed

We have quoted consistency/inconsistency several times this year and it's time to challenge this shit

Playing the system imo, if ground for appeal is there, then get is used, especially with the lack of fairness regarding this.

Going off on a tangent a bit but in general,  the appeals process in Scotland strikes me as outright spiteful and bullying.

"Yer a prick and am banning ye for a week, accept yer ban or else"

"Don't think I'm a prick tbh, can ye have a look again?"

"Awrite, I've re-examined it and still think yer a prick but now it's a 4 week ban for daring to question me"

Exactly. Maybe the SFA think because 16 of their players/staff had to self isolate for 10 days due to being close contacts of one (sorry two) positive cases and missed two games it just gets swept under that big carpet.

Well they can Fuck off with that. They broke protocol as much as our players, so where's their bans! Hope we do question it.

The punishments players receive is erratic to say the least. The amount of time the panel take to make a decision is terrible too. Have they never heard of Zoom calls?

Imagine it was neck and neck for the title this season and they were fucking about as they have been. Would be a nightmare for the coaching staff.

Who is on the panel anyhow? Do they consult relevant scientific experts or just go by how Nicola Sturgeon reacts?

Whole system smacks of amatuirism.

On a side note Jordan Jones is quoting people on his Twitter page claiming people are being coerced into receiving experimental covid 19 vaccines.

135 million  people have been fully vaccinated Jordan you retard! How has he survived so long? Dices with death every time he crosses a road without a professional carer.

Hope he never plays for us again.

When the bans were announced I argued that an appeal had to be made.

It's a broader issue than the bans themselves. We are operating under a 2 tier justice system where there is one set of rules for the big bad Rangers and another for scum. All we have asked for and are seeking is equality, transparency, and one set of rules for all.

It is a major problem that has to be tackled head on. Well done to the board for getting lawyers involved and showing a willingness to take this as far as it needs to go.
