Also, he’s played 130 games in four seasons - one of which finished early and the other of which hasn’t actually finished yet. Hardly “constantly injured”.

Games he missed in his first season were due to Kipre as well. Not being injury prone.

Since he has been a first team player he has played less than 30 games a season twice. One of those occasions was due to Kipre's challenge.

He has made 35+ appearances in a season 8 times.

It's a concern obviously but people are overstating it.

This season he's played 1443 minutes of football so far, 16 games.

That’s only 32 games a season so is not particularly good given we play about 50 or 60 in a year with good cup runs.

I do the think anyone thinks a fit jack is not a great player for us when available but it would be good to see him play 40+ games at least

Ryan jack is a massive player for us. He needs to be allowed every opportunity to get to the bottom of this injury. The notion that it is time to get rid is a knee-jerk reaction and the management will not look to replace him unless the injury is career threatening. He is too good of a player.

Massive player yet can't remain fit for our biggest games of the season.

He has a recurring injury that needs addressing.  These things happen but I wouldn't necessary call him injury prone when it is more os less the same issue.

I agree, he was missed against Slavia and could have been the difference.

He had the same problem at Aberdeen, its nothing new.

We missed Jack massively in both games against Slavia Prague.

And both of the last two OFs where, if we’re being honest with ourselves, we could have lost both games to a fucking garbage celtic team after being dominated for large parts in midfield.

We’re generally a 60 games a season team now (there or there abouts). Need more from him than 130 games over 4 seasons.

Lets see what comes back from the specialist before the calls for getting rid etc.

That would be a great idea, if he can get his problems sorted it would be superb, if he cannot then Stevie needs to decide what is best for team and player.

I am staying optimistic until I hear what this specialist says.

If the specialist says hes fucked then its game over for his career. Don't think we would be able to keep that quiet when trying to sell him, along with the fact that any medical at another club will have it flagged up.

I hope it's a fixable thing, I really do, but the experts the club have been to so far haven't been able to sort it. Not looking good imo.

For my part it is being really hopeful he can at least be improved so that he can play on because he has always been a favourite of mine.

I also realise it might not go as I want it to, so just waiting with fingers crossed mate.

I wonder what the exact problem is. We know he has been managed differently regarding knee issues but the last couple of injuries have been calf related. I wonder if the underlying knee issues are contributing to calf injuries etc. We'll find out soon I guess.
