rangersross 6,530
Such a key player when he’s fit. If we can get a full season out of Jack it’ll be absolutely huge. One Jock Wallace and Bears r us
LegendofCoop 17,249
Great news. Cracking player on his day and massive boost to the squad! Now he should retire from international duty!

docspiderman 1,220
I do not think he has been missed all that much and results might reflect that we are more effective without him. Our transitions are far more potent without him slowing things down and defensively we have been secure as the figures show. He has no sell on value so he could be the Zungu replacing Davis or Kamara late in games.
BridgeIsBlue 66,595
On the cusp of an undefeated league campaign, 100 points, beat them in 3 games and he's played just under 14 full matches for us. Hasn't been missed and we need better come the summer. docspiderman, BookWorm, Hadron Collider and 1 other

There’s absolutely no way Slavia Prague would have dealt with us as easily as they did if he was playing in those games. rangersross, One Jock Wallace, The Specky Forum Organiser and 10 others

Got ran over the top of in a few bigger games this year, that having Jack in there would have gone some way to preventing. Don't understand why some on here can't see the value of Jack in our midfield. Neither Slavia nor St J would have bullied us if Jack had been there. Totally underestimated by some. It’s not really though because most people talked up his quality and what he brought to the side long before he got injured. SPWF 8,205
Football fans are split into two distinct groups IMO. Those that can see what players like Jack bring to a side, and idiots.

We've managed perfectly fine without him this season, we need an absolute unit to play as a defensive midfielder and we ain't gonna get it with him. The problem is, we haven't really missed a step without him this season. Some might even argue we're a better side without him even if he is fit. Who do you take out for him, Davis or Kamara? docspiderman

I’d use him where/when required so way Gerrard does with almost all his players.
GersInCanada 7,775
While we have done fine without him it's all about Gerrard having options regarding who starts on a game to game basis.
