WelL that’s not true (last season’s league cup final) but there’s no fucking question that another cup exit is absolutely embarrassing and Gerrard and the players should be fucking ashamed.

A fantastic achievement winning the league this season, but our cup record is frankly embarrassing. Still serious question marks for me over the mentality of a number of our players.

Got exactly what they deserved from that game. A lot of those guys were rested midweek for this game. But looked absolutely out on their feet during extra time. There is still a softness to us when a team gets in their face and wants to turn a game into a scrap.

I said during the week that guys like Roofe don't impress at all and his contribution when coming on was zero. Why Morelos went off is a mystery as we lost our focal point as soon as he left the field.

Should be ashamed of ourselves, learned more about some of our players, hagi for one, we must have lost or dropped points in six or seven games in the past two years with poor game management, even in Cup competitions we can't get over the line it's got to be a priority next season, lazy end to the season and it's not acceptable.

Outside of the celtic cup game the players have been piss poor since winning the league. 
 

At Rangers there is an expectation to win everything domestically, of course the league is the priority but these players need to learn one swallow doesn’t make a summer.

Performances like tonight show that although we are a good team, we are still short in a couple of areas. 

Our mentality is also suspect at times and even though we have won the league at a canter we need stronger personalities and mentalities in the side. There hasn't been a better chance for us to get a double or even a treble this season. 

There is no way we should be conceding right after scoring. No chance at all.
