Its infuriating This. We’re a smallish side so apart from two centre halves we’re relying on Tav and Barasic but he is poor. Ironically, Alfie and Roofe are two of our best defenders at set-pieces. Yeah felt for a while Barisic isn’t quite pulling his weight defensively. Hard shift asking him to do what he does as well as be solid at the back in fairness. I’m not really as bothered about normal play as all the modern full backs main asset now seems to be his attacking play and Tav and him more than make up for any goals conceded. Its infuriating His worst trait by a mile is tracking a ball in the air and his resulting positioning and heading. He does it at corners all the time and he’s really bad when the ball gets played over his head into the channel in open play. He’s also guilty a lot of being too tight and fouling attackers if he’s defensively trying to head the ball. Having said that these are probably Tav’s worst traits too, and most of the top class wing backs in the world have the same problem.
