Had both my jabs so was hoping i'd be first in the queue as well 😂

They say you can still carry it and pass it on so vaccines are irrelevant to what you can and cant do by sounds of it. Fed up of it all now. About to renew for a second season for potentially nothing apart from home games on rtv 😆

Latest scientific evidence is showing the vaccine not only stops it being as severe if you catch the virus but it is making it much less likely you will catch it or pass it on. All the feedback is very positive on the vaccine effectiveness in all aspects.

??? The vaccine is literally the reason UKs cases and deaths have plummeted. We were averaging something like 1000 deaths a day in January, now its 10-20.

Governments are concerned with variants now, which is why they want the majority of adults vaccinated before opening up everything without distancing. And tbh I think we’ll be filling stadiums again next season anyway.

Cases dropped last summer too - without vaccines.

I order 12 x bottles of Westons cases regularly mate, they have 4.1 units in a bottle, minimum pricing in this shitehole is 50p/unit so they should be £2.05 a bottle minimum or £24.60 a case.

I get it for £16.25, got one coming tmrw.

Couldn’t give a flying fuck about the SNP who’s daily briefings comfort the minions with a lot of waffle without their reality of not giving a fuck how corrupt and inept at running a once thriving country they have become but be reassured, once wee nippy pisses off boris enough and she gets her referendum and loses they’ll no doubt be another of salmonds arseholes along to fill her void and off we go again. The country has receded since I was my daughters age and that’s not what it’s about. Welcome to Scotland, the fenian ran British hating cesspit reality. Did I say Fuck the SNP. Not a political post just an observation of what a shitehole this place is being run into without a real challenge of the falling standards?

Yup, that's why everyone needs to get it especially those who are judged as being a higher risk of serious complications.

How Jason Leitch envisions away supporters returning to Scottish football grounds next season

Jason Leitch believes Scottish football grounds will be able to welcome in away supporters next season but reckons it could be a slower process than the return of home fans.

The National Clinical Director expects a cautious approach over the first few weeks of the campaign but, if things go smoothly this winter, then clubs may again adopt an open-access policy with regards to ticketing.
Once the country reaches level 0, which is expected to come in late June, 2,000 spectators will be allowed into stadiums with bigger crowds initially possible on an application basis to the Scottish Government, such as this year’s European Championships which will see around 25 per cent of Hampden’s 50,000 capacity in attendance.

If cases and deaths continue to drop then this will open further. However, with clubs still getting used to safety measures in the first few weeks and months, Leitch imagines the return of away supporters will be a more gradual process.

He told Off the Ball: “I can imagine the start of the season being like that, where everyone is still getting used to how it works: to make sure one-way systems are working, the car parks are safe, all of that.

“If I were in charge of a club I’d be thinking that this is a big change, this is everyone coming back, we’ve got to do this correctly. Let’s think only home fans for the first six weeks. We’ve got their names and addresses. Then, maybe, you allow in away fans as part of a supporters group, so you’d know who they all were. So it’s still not open ticketing.

“With regards to the whole season, it depends on what happens in winter. The winter is a little bit of an unknown for us in terms of the virus. We’ll probably need more vaccinations and a surge of the virus globally, so winter is a bit tricky.
“But I can imagine a scenario where we start with home fans, move into away fans who we know, and then maybe later in the season we start getting that open access for everybody.
“The big unknown just now is physical distancing. If we still need to have physical distancing then basically the whole country has to have eradicated the virus to make it safe.”

The man's a fuckin clown . Open air no spread . All vulnerable immune as of end of this month. EVERYONE  by end of July.  So why does this fuckin moron think we cant have full stadia ??

Cases only dropped because of the lockdown.....the hospitality sector opened back up in July & International travel wasn't far behind.....by September restrictions were getting put back in place as Cases were on the rise again....come the winter, cases were fucking tonto hence another lockdown....it will be interesting to see how many cases this time round now that things are opening back up and the vaccine is out there....hopefully a lot less....maybe just maybe will we then be allowed to start leading almost normal lifes again

A simple NHS Certification number  confirming vaccination via an App would suffice .

That is what the clown alluded  to last week when questioned on it.

He couldn't give a timeline to get such a simple thing up & running despite the fact we are told over 2.3 million people in Scotland have had one or more vaccinations to date.

Given we are 2 months from the Summer 5 months from the start of the football season it really sums these useless cretins up in that they couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery .

This is not a route we should go down. Its divisive and segregated people who A - dont have a smart phone and B - people who wont have the vaccine for whatever reason. I certainly dont want the UK to go down the "covid passport" route domestically

Divisive how ?

The UK already has a devolved policy on restrictions given today's announcement by the Westminster Government on International travel for England it's a cert the other devolved nations will be a fortnight or so behind today's announcement provided The Indian variant eg yet to be contained to any significant degree  doesn't impact on The UK & or Europe in the short term & our Government & devolved administrations should adopt a form of authentication for intended travellers like the one proposed other variables such as a doctor's line or the self test kits if appropriate should suffice for International travel as well as a domestic easing for public events by July/August is easily achievable provided those in power take heed of events at home & abroad.

We need to sensibly get back to a form of normality .

The traffic light system for international coming & going within the UK should be monitored over the coming months as well monitoring other countries we deem green light at the moment in how strict they are in relation to International travel from affected areas should also be a deciding factor.

The Aussie Government are already getting it in the neck for safeguarding their own populace by shutting up shop even to their own citizens abroad we really ought to have done the same last march.

This time we have a chance to get it right so far this approach seems reasonably sensible for public events & habits over the next few months .

Divisive because not everyone will take the vaccine for whatever reasons.

Whilst it isnt mandatory I'd find it rather selfish on their part for not getting vaccinated.

Given all information to date shows the approved Jabs to be effective then the authorities charged with offering it should be insisting on no entry to a public event as those who choose to avoid vaccination are clearly a health risk in contracting or passing on the virus even in the short term they are putting themselves into a position of not being able to do things like holidays or attend public events through their own selfishness and exclusion should be factored in as the need to safeguard the public at large both at home & abroad is critical regardless of age given the age groups of those already affected and those who are potentially a risk by not enrolling into the scheme.
