99.9% of these videos I’ve seen there’s not a Rangers top, scarf, flag or even colour to be seen. That pretty much sums up the type of person that’s getting involved in the bother, it’s because that’s what they’re there for and it has almost nothing to do with Rangers

Come on ffs.

Edit:. My bad I thought you were saying it wasn't Rangers fans as opposed to what you seem to have been saying. Sadly, they do still represent our name.

Enjoying everyone's comments with a beer in my hand. Only thing that would make it better is if I could share it with my brother. Lost him 2 years ago at the age of 52. He'd have loved this. Abse

Great post on FF. Deserves sharing here... I need to address a couple of things as a British Muslim Rangers fan. I will continue to fight (Not Physically) against anyone who tries to tarnish

Aye for sure. Football fans in general are fair game amongst the chattering classes, but up here, with the backdrop of Scottish Nationalism, it's a free for all on Rangers fans in particular and a lot of the dehumanising rhetoric has bred a climate where its OK to generalise.

Totally agree on that last point. Wee fucking bams who have brought shame on a great day for the greatest club in the world. A minority who should be unequivocally condemned and hunted.

I’d guess there’ll be a team of polis right now sitting watching & listening to all the available footage & identifying those that need traced re their behaviour.

You not getting what he's saying? He's not claiming they're not Rangers "fans"

But it doesn't matter what they have on they're there for one reason.

The big walks the same, possil and Springburn used to meet to fight each other ffs.

Thats nothing to do with the Orange Order

Fair enough. I just seen it as those pesky Chelsea fans but I see what you mean now.

The wee fucking bams fighting are fucking cancerous to our club. Even worse are the fucking squares filming it and posting it online giving all our enemies all the ammo they need. In saying that, go to Sauchiehall street on any calendar Saturday night and you will see fights and 20 arrests.

99.9% of our fans were excellent and showed the world what this title means.

Ok, next time we win a title and some mindless neds once again sully Rangers reputation I’ll overlook it completely because I’m hundreds of miles away. Anyway, I’m not trying to derail this thread. Just making a point that I’m embarrassed by this behaviour and it does the team a disservice.

Did you do anything to feel embarrassed about ?

BBC radio there - ‘Rangers celebrated winning the title yesterday’....then spent the rest of the time on ‘but there were scenes.....the First Minister Statement........disgrace/sectarian/etc..etc..’

They love having the opportunity to shower us with poison and unfortunately a minority have handed that opportunity to them on a plate.

Agreed just gives them an excuse to have a go rather than praise our team. Sturgeon while an anti English racist herself was correct about the songbook from some. Pretty cringe worthy on trophy day, why not sing champions songs ffs

Some of the videos from yesterday are a shambles.

What is this new thing about going to George Square anyway?

During the independence referendum the square was given over to the snp supporting scum to do as they pleased. To have a March or gathering the orange order and others have to put in a request months in advance but not nationalists. So apart from being the central point in city it’s a bit of payback. See above Palestinian shit.

There was always going to be a wee group of drunken arseholes who would make a cunt of it.

When we win the title next season hopefully we’ll all be inside Ibrox celebrating it then back to our local pubs and clubs.

Some of them need to have a good look in the mirror this morning, fucking bangers.

To be fair he isn't quite saying that. He's definitely subtly stoking those flames, but he's saying any incidents of violence, anti-Catholic bigotry etc will be followed up on and arrests will be made.

He is fucking saying it so go do your snp/left wing propaganda elsewhere. The chants from cunts in square today are anti Jewish and inflammatory but that’s ok I suppose.

Singing about hating a group outside of Ibrox prematch was fucking cringy. Especially as most of our team are of that belief.

That's the thing that seems to be forgotten, stadiums and pubs closed for a year. You were always going to have everyone coming to Ibrox/George Square for it.
