Popular Post Essandoh 21,103
He’s been through so much, and been criticised more in the last few years by fans (including ridiculous emotional overreactions by myself) than some players will face their entire career. But he’s grown from it, steadfast and true. He’s been monumental in arguably Rangers Football Club’s greatest ever league title win. Come May 15th, he’ll raise the league trophy above his head in the same class - deservedly - as the likes of Vallance, Shaw, Caldow, Gough, Ferguson and Greig. His name’s James Tavernier. Captain. Leader. Champion. BridgeIsBlue, AlbertzLoyalRSC, demise and 17 others
Popular Post Blacky Bear 821
Surprised me, and eating my words, grown as a person, player, leader and Captain. Can't wait to see him lift the only non tainted league Trophy in 10 years. Essandoh, LiverpoolBlue, The Blue and 2 others
Popular Post Drunk and disorderly. 14,203
Tavs has proven so many people wrong. Sutton labelled him a serial loser. Some of our support understandably lost faith in him last season when his form plummeted. He didn't crawl back into his shell. Just the opposite, he put even more effort in. As Struth once said.... No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome. Despite the hard times Tavs has emerged as the captain who won title 55. No surrender James Tavernier! Bad Robot, LiverpoolBlue, Essandoh and 2 others
Essandoh 21,103
@Drunk and disorderly. Its mental how much that quote from the great Struth fits with Tavernier’s journey at Rangers. I’d love Rangers to record his reaction to reading that. G13, Drunk and disorderly. and BridgeIsBlue

The quote would be a great addition to his tattoos btw. G13 and Essandoh
bluebell82 236
What a journey he's been on as Rangers player, and obviously himself. I'm sure he's only human, had those moments of self doubt, family pressure's etc etc- but has stepped up when it counts. His attitude is obviously why Gerrard made him captain - great player. bluenose48 950
He has done us proud as a player and captain. As others have said his form dip last year caused a lot of criticism but he has taken Bill Struths words to heart and has come back better than ever.
