bluenose48 950
When they announced him as the new manager and DK sat next to him, I was not sure if he was right. But fuck me he has proved me and every other doubter wrong. Love you big time Stevie. TheFamousPigeon
Popular Post RFC55 107,780
Rumour that he took the trophy to Walter last night. I can barely even type this cause my eyes are filling But the thought of him taking the trophy to Mr Rangers in a time that he's really not great would mean a lot to Walter and his family. Supreme confidence, zero arrogance. Everything he does, is done in the best possible way. He was the right man, at the right time, for the right job, in the right place! Popular Post BlueSuedeSambas 53,548
It’s been a perfect marriage, at a perfect time. Certain clubs don’t necessarily need great tacticians to manage them, they need a big character who can manage the expectations and I believe we fall into that category. We badly needed a manager with an elite level mentality and an elite level mindset to rebuild the club and make us remember who we are and what we stand for and strive to be and at the same time Gerrard needed a club steeped in a historically elite level winning mentality with the same ambition that he had where he could put his ideas across. We would never have got anywhere if we stuck with managers like Warburton and Caixinha and Gerrard’s management career would have fallen flat if he had taken his first gig with some diddy club like MK Dons just to get an opportunity. Appointing him was an absolute master stroke especially when you look at how many players from his era have tried their hands as managers and proven themselves to be absolute donkeys.
