It's incredibly petty and goes way beyond politics. The SNP have turned Scotland into an absolute laughing stock. 

it's actually frightening how narrow focused they are and it's  frightening that 14+ years in government destroying the brilliant societal building blocks we had and we don't have a credible and sustained opposition party to go head to head with what amount to a bunch of neds and playground bullies.

See the strategy of so many protestors and activists is to peddle conspiracy theories.
