In the back door, after McLeish did the leg work.

Tbh even if Scotland fucked up their nations league group under Eck they would have still qualified for the playoffs anyway since most of the winners qualified automatically.

I think that’s why he doesn’t really get much credit.

Teams get lauded in this country for being boring, defensive pish with no effort to win the game, as long as they don’t get beaten. Clarke made a living doing this with Kilmarnock and he’s doing the exact same with Scotland. Has no idea how to set up a team to be on the front foot and go and win a game.  I hope England give them an absolute humping and then Croatia. No goals, no points for no fucking clue

Look at the praise Motherwell got when we sneaked a win there in December/January. They were utter garbage and didn't even try to get past the halfway line. Which is funny cause they couldn't wait to put the boot in to our style in 2008 despite being much more attacking than half the guff that gets praised in the SPL.

Read that the other day. Utterly embarrassing. O’Donnell a cert to start on Friday then

I think he’ll start him too. And Patterson might get game time when we’re already out.

Difficult to throw younger guys into the England game really. Both he and Gilmour should have started against the Czechs.

Scotland will be lucky to get a goal at this tournament, never mind a point or a win. There's enough talent there to at least compete but Clarke is a piss-poor manager and his 'tactics' are beyond awful.

Happy to be wrong but genuinely think Friday night might be 4 or 5-0 England.

Hope that’s just the half time score.

I wouldn't have been that pissed at a Rangers keeper if they had been standing where Marshall was personally, the highest % of blame for that goal is on Hendry, it was unfathomably dumb he took that shot on from there knowing how many of his team mates were ahead of him.

Agree re Scotland getting a doing on Friday, they aren't a stuffy, tough to beat side who are well drilled like they were under McLeish and Smith, that narrative around this team is BS

Anyone that watches them much/knows much can see they have had a decent run against pretty trash sides, many of them they have made heave work of - one of their best results was against a Covid riddled Czech team missing most of their team, and even in that game they were very, very lucky and basically battered all over the place.

They have been scudded by Belgium who on another day could have scored 10 at Hampden, and that is not that OTT, Russia gave them a proper dicking, against any decent side they get showed up pretty badly.

Sticking together results against Isreal, Faroe Islands and Slovakia hasn't been the cocks oot bragging routine many in the media have attempted to paint it as.

legit buzzing at the absolute cunt the Tranny Army is going to make of themselves, 20,000 going down - 800 of which have managed to secure a fan zone near Wembley, the other 19,000 are going to be aimlessly walking around London being told to get to fuck as pubs are booked out.

Connor Wilson tweeted: “Just put a big screen up in Hyde Park next Friday and keep us aw happy, doesn’t take much.” Stacey C added: “Going to head to Hyde Park and see. We think that’s where most fans will be. A sort of unofficial fan zone.”

Aye, just dae that eh - fanny.

someone is going to get their cunt kicked in.... buzzing for the tweets and messages to the SFA to deal with it and for fans to go home... because that's what politicians do right.

With mcgregor retired and Jack injured , who should be there from us vying for a position ? Patterson should have started but he's in there with a chance of playing

If Arfield wasn’t Canadian I reckon he would be in the squad but we have very few Scottish players for a Scottish team.
