Patterson/Tavernier

Nah, they deserve massive applause etc, but legendary status should be kept to the minimum so aa to not dilute it, essentially you are putting guys like roofe, itten etc on the same mantle as the barca bears and the 9iar guys

So who decides what player is a legend and who isn’t?  You could play a handful or a minimum of one game as a player and win a eufa cup is that comparable to winning a league title undefeated?

Was hernandez not a lb originally???

Aye, can play both LB and CB, he is class  - the point was simply to show teams pretty often just go with the younger player (Davies in that instance) despite them being inexperienced because on occasion it is pretty clear the talent is going to take them far rather than it being "disrespectful" to older players.

They had other options to them, i.e Alaba at LB, Sule at CB, Hernandez at LB Sule at CB, but they went with Davies as the preferred LB options at the expense of others,  it's a bit weird to even make reference to it again from the poster TBH.

the CB issues Bayern had which lead to a player who had played for them at LB the season before having to play at CB all season. You'd almost think in the process of typing it that it would connect.

Alaba, literally talking nonsense about himself

Although it isn't the first time the Austrian has been used in the middle, it is by no means a natural position for him.

"It's no secret I feel better on the left," the 27-year-old said after the 4-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in which the new-look defence allowed the visitors just one shot in 90 minutes. That was the first time since data collection began that BVB had recorded fewer than three attempts in a Bundesliga game.

Patterson has played less than 20 professional games of football and hasn’t played in front of an expectant Ibrox either. To expect him to replace Tav this early is madness.

This season he will get enough starts to keep progressing and show what we all believe he will be, Tav’s successor.

Tav gets shot at CL football hopefully along with a few more trophies then may make way for NP.

Patterson is the better player (that doesn't mean Tav isn't a good player). If the boy is given the chance ahead of O'Donnell, he will prove it in the next few weeks and his value will increase throughout Europe.

There is no room for both. Definitely a dilemma for Gerrard.

This is mental

Was that the same team that won 4 consecutive trebles?? Agree its tarrier talk to deflect from their own problems

They never exactly won the 4th one. The title was awarded to them after a zoom call and the cup final bizarrely was played the next season with Hearts losing players because they were relegated unfairly.

Yes I know but they happily claim all those trophies and they had the same squad with a couple of additions this season. To say we had no competition os laughable at best.

He isn't underestimated, but he's nowhere near a legend when you think of the ones we have

And tbh the league season wasn't a competition, winning the title by march isnt a competition, we call out browns achievements at the tarriers cause they had no competition, so we cant throw that away when the tables are turned

??? Wtf are you talking about. We won the league against the side going for 10... TEN league titles in a row. Are we supposed to say the celtic team that won a QUADRUPLE TREBLE just suddenly become shite? No we were class

So if we had have been 24 points worse off last season and won the league by a point that would have been something to shout about because it was close

Worst thing I've ever read. Genuinely.

Theres a toss up between Jim and blunoz on a regular basis of who can be the furthest away from reality in regards to fitbaw 😂

Because I think Patterson is the better of the two players is not an outlandish suggestion. Only time will tell.
