Always have been like that since a wee boy, got it from my old man. When I was a wee kid I had near-on memorised every registered player in the 95/96 Champions League season Having said that, I didn't get to see many Rangers games as a kid. I used to listen to that every single week back in the days when I was proper obsessed with football, and I don’t think I’ve heard some of the names that have been brought up tonight since those days either. Maybe he doesn't have his Euro badges like big Ange? Same with Sid Lowe's column in the Guardian, that was a must read for me too but I can't remember the last time I read it. I should start doing that again. I think he’s won it with them a couple of times now. I’m assuming it must be for personal reasons. Even Simeone who was brilliant at Racing had to go to Catania first I think. Pellegrini had to go from River to Villarreal before they were a biggish name too.
