The other half who would have replaced them were injured/suspended. It was a poor performance with silly lapses of concentration defensively but let's not jump to conclusions or blow the heid just yet. Back to Ibrox, full house and get behind the team! My favourite outlandish comment was that we bottled it in front of a crowd. 5 thousand socially distanced Swedes. As intimidating as your gran after losing at bingo ffs! We had 50 percent possession each and they had 2 shots to our 1. Poor game of football to watch tbh. 2 minutes of slack play fucked us. I am confident we will turn it around at Ibrox. Well off the pace, needed minutes imho. Pre season has been a mess. If Itten was in managers mind for starting tonight then why was Defoe starting games at beginning of pre-season. Players under-cooked and the recruitment in midfield, again, has been a mess. Hadron Collider
JackAlex93 11,251
The amount of fucking warmers in this thread tonight is alarming. Probably the same cunts who would rather we were playing Candeias wide right instead of Scott Wright. Some of you need to chill out. WilliamMunny 3,234
I though Itten had a decent first half to be honest but we were desperately missing Morelos and Roofe. Having Morelos back will give us a great chance even from the bench.
Parma99 116
Malmo are a poor team, we gifted them the game. Tav just cannot cut out those silly little mistakes. Expecting us to win next week, and thank god we've got Alfie back!
ZZed 4,510
Well, that should have sorted any complacency in the ranks and maybe it will have done us some good. They now come to Ibrox, full house, first champions league night in 10 years and with the team switched on. We will win this 2-0 at Ibrox. cstamomusa, demise and HG5

Popular Post BlueThunder 8,453
That Davis goal has given us hope, nothing else. Some on here seem to think it will be a formality now. I don’t believe it is. If we hadn’t scored we were out IMO If Malmö score first next week, we are out or at best it goes to penalties IMO If we score first then I can see us winning with a clean sheet and maybe getting a few more. However, make no mistake, if that goal doesn’t go in we would be out and this board would be mental. We better keep the head and not get stupid cards. No reds please Alfie. Especially when they started going down with ‘cramp’ at 70 mins this week. Imagine next week….. ElBufalo20 7,890
Davis Lundstram and Arfield a very rigid midfield would hope the 3 of them never start again as a trio. Dont understand how Hagi never got on if he wasn’t fit enough he shouldn’t have left Glasgow. HG5
Toronto2Glasgow 1,822
Our first true competitive game of the year. Showed signs of rust, but to be expected so early in the year. We can raise our performance, I’m not totally convinced they can. I’d rather be us than them at this point. Colin Traive and JM1872

Lovenkrands72 479
It’s obvious we were poor tonight and I don’t think Malmö are a great team by any stretch of the imagination but they are well drilled and well into their season. We’re missing a few key players and still getting up to pace with the new season. I still very much fancy us to progress to the next round. Tiger Shaw 30,463
Confident we’ll turn this around at Ibrox. Davis goal was a game changer. Poor performance tonight but it won’t happen again in the second leg. 3-1 Rangers 👊🏼
peter huistra 1,740
Our set plays were really poor tonight our crossing in general untill the end never seemed dangerous enough alway easy for the Malmö defenders who did Marshall our front three quite well although they defo showed they have some gaps to exploit next week. Gotta feel confident for the second leg these guys deserve champions League football for all they did last season. kelvd1873
steven33jackie 1,920
Midfield was the biggest problem tonight. Davis, Lundstram and Arfield certainly not a first choice and it shows. When I saw the team and with no Aribo and Hagi on the bench. I hoped Hagi would at least get 20 mins but obviously he was just making up the numbers. Two minutes of poor defending done us tonight and if we get a better mix in the midfield next week we should have enough to go through. Will be interested to hear Gerrard's assessment on the defending for the two goals tonight.
