I went to Ibrox primary and went over to the stadium for autographs and see the players nearly every day. They say sometimes when you meet your idols they can let you down. That was never the case when it came to Bud, he was great with me never refused a request for an autograph. Couldn't believe it when he came back to Rangers. He made an arse of Provan before the throw in when we beat that lot 2-1 at the Piggery. I was at the game, the Rangers end was unreal when that goal went in. Was at that game as well. 😄 real boydie9 and scottyscott1963

We won 5-2 & went on to win the Group beating celtic 3-0 home & away. Beat Morton in the Final 5-0. Jim Forrest got 4. Still got the programme - & the newspaper report but bit difficult to read. Well it is after you cut & pasted. Born that year. Never made it to the match though.😅

It's crazy to think that you went all over glasgow in those days as a daft boy and just asked some stranger to lift you over the turnstile. scottyscott1963

LegendofCoop 17,246
Coisty. Cunt of a game though. 2 up with 2 minutes to go and it ends 2-2! Willie Johnston and Sandy Jardine in Maroon & White that day as well.
gmcf 34,088
Either Andy Penman or Willie Johnston in a 3-2 win over Hearts . Funnily enough don't recall the goals , only a save by Peter McCloy , who hadn't long signed , that saved a late Hearts equaliser after Rangers were 3-0 up at HT . simplythebestest 2,145
I can't actually remember. Maybe some of the older Bears with encyclopaedic will know. Would have been mid 90s, vs St Johnstone, home game, Gazza and Laudrup were playing and we won 2-0. Edit: Scratch that, think it might have been this game - 2-1. Popular Post PromDeAnglais 5,470
Vidmar against Parma, 1999. Thuram, Cannavaro, Buffon and Ortega amongst their team: https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/match/56906--Rangers-vs-parma/lineups/?iv=true Great to see Buffon back at Parma as captain and still playing at 43. The best GK of the last 25 years in my opinion. They Gnu, CR3, graeme_4 and 2 others
