Why would we play counter possession football v shite in this league?

Teams have either worked us out or we’re not pressing properly. Only takes one person not to press correctly to fuck it up for the team.

Doubt today will kick start our season, we will do what we’ve done most games, have a 20/30 min spell that we look half decent in and hope we score during that time otherwise we’ll be in for a long afternoon, again.

Pretty much sums up every game. If we don’t somehow score in that one period of decent play we aren’t going to score. Other team comes into the game and you just know they’ll get chances due to our slack defending. 
There’s pretty much nobody at the moment who you would look at to change a game.

Biggest threat today is Boyle’s pace and his ability to win extremely dodgy decisions through diving. Newell is a decent player too but none of the rest would get into our squad, never mind our starting eleven.

Anything less than a win is unacceptable. We must get back to last season’s form and the fact that Flange is making a pig’s ear of it across the city shouldn’t lessen our expectations of our team.
