A 25 Pursuer Class Action is shocking and all because the Defender is trying to dodge their duty of care I would imagine that the appeal they have made for other victims to step forward will see this figure rise massively. Usually in these scenarios the actions of one or two brave individuals stepping forward leads to a mass of others given the strength to do so. I’m sure the fact that the victims need not put themselves through individual court cases will give assurances to many. I’m not going to revel in what could and should be the demise of that club. Primarily because it should be all about the victims of this horrendous crime finally getting some form of justice. Popular Post graeme_4 34,376
Football aside, first hope is justice and some form of closure for the victims. Lives ruined by the dozen. Secondly, I hope everyone involved or complicit in an ongoing coverup and deflection gets what’s coming to them. scottyscott1963, bluenoz, Paisley Blue Loyal and 8 others
GersInCanada 7,775
This is not a football matter. It would appear that the dam has finally burst on the cover up of decades of child abuse. A class action is the way to go as many individuals would be reluctant to fight a case on their own.
AdzKyle 7,832
Not before time. These poor people need justice. CFC should finally hold there hands up and face their punishment. But we know they won’t. It’s in their DNA to lie, sweep, deny and blame others.

It appears the scum are pinning all their hopes on the “separate entity” lie. Any decent judge has to see that for the desperate, cynical attempt at abdicating responsibility that it is. The kids were their bhoys when they won a league or cup but apparently not when a coach in green and white was abusing them. I think that we can assume that the 25 victims is an opening bid, the final number will be much higher.
