Absolutely the worst thing we can do is come out passive. We will probably need a third either way imo.

Agree with this although we have looked pretty solid defensively. The goal was a worldy and while there were individual errors in the middle of the park you couldn't really blame the defence. An early 3rd would be nice. Fuck sitting through the last 10 minutes if there's still only one goal in it.

It feels, for a variety of reasons Roofe and Morelos haven't started many games together.

Would be interesting to know the goal return they have when both start.Ā

For all their lack of pace, and sometimes overall play, they are by far our biggest goal threats.

Will be interesting when Kent comes back. Hard to leave Hagi or Aribo out.

Could be what's been needed to kick start our performance levels this season. Completely unacceptable start to the game with certain players looking like they'd have rather been anywhere but Paisley today and actively hiding, but what a turnaround as soon as we raise our tempo and aggression. We need to start the second half in exactly the same way and not let them back into this. I'd be tempted to freshen things up at half time to try and avoid our usual slow start.Ā

Aribo is playing in a midfield 3. He's the only one who offers anything going forward from those 3 so he will stay. I think if Kent comes back then him and Hagi off Morelos means Morelos doesn't have to drop deep to collect the ball and can play as an out and out 9.
