Like many on here I've cried many tears today.  

This man was a giant and epitomised the greatest period of my youth following our club. 

Thank you for the memories Walter and may, in some small way, your family take some comfort from the outpouring of grief and love from the other family you so selflessly shared him with.

As a younger fan he was Mr Rangers for me growing up, looking back now at many of the early memories I have for Rangers Walter is involved and it will always remain that way.

The reactions from the footballing world show just how respected he was as a giant of a man.

Haven't posted here in years - saw the news, thought shit - then burst into tears. There's nothing I can say that everyone else hasn't said already. Gutted for his family and friends and all of us who loved him. And I guess thats the greatest tribute that anyone can ever really have, to be loved by so many.
