RIP Sir Walter

A man of true integrity and a near statesman like presence you will be sorely missed by all connected with our  glorious club Mr Smith.

I  call him Mr Smith as he must surely be held in the same regard as Mr Struth in the influence he has had at Rangers.

My thoughts go with his family and friends at the loss of one who was held dear by so many.

Rest easy Sir, you work is done.

As a younger fan he was Mr Rangers for me growing up, looking back now at many of the early memories I have for Rangers Walter is involved and it will always remain that way.

The reactions from the footballing world show just how respected he was as a giant of a man.

McCoist interview on talksport is very fitting.

Thoughts to his wife and family. ❤️
