let's be honest, anyone with a set of eyes can see he is carrying to much timber.

For months we've had people repeatedly tell us Gerrard and the coaching staff wouldn't play an overweight player.

Absolute delusion.

Had a few moments towards the end of last season when the sun was shining, but he’s never been the same since the 2019 LCF.

The player he was is gone, his career has followed a Torres trajectory. Needs to go in the summer, and we’ll be lucky to get a third of what he was worth.

The whole team looks miles of it physically this season. Last year we were pressing hard and teams struggled with us in the last fifteen minutes of games, this year our players look fucked after a single half of football.

Torres had an injury though.

It's utterly bizarre that Morelos has gone from ragdolling a whole defence on his own and being an utter menace for 90 minutes to looking like he's playing like a 35 year old Alan Shearer.

Birth certificate needs checked.

The most bizarre thing about it is he won’t get his move unless he plays well for us.

Whatever is going on with him needs addressed. I’m not sure if it’s the hairdryer or an arm around the shoulder but one of Gio’s strengthens is meant to be his man management so hopefully it won’t be too long before we see him regain form and fitness.

I don't know if it's a weight, fitness or residual injury issue but he no longer looks able/willing to sprint in behind.

He's constantly coming short and holding the ball up but the main job of a striker is to turn the centre backs and get in the box. It's no wonder his goal record has regressed.

Because Beale and Gerrard tried to turn him into a wish version of Firmino.

He’s always had no technical ability, his main attributes were always physical

His first touch is rotten, he can’t stay onside and his passing is woeful

Fuck sake mate, he might not have the technical ability of a pre injury Mols but I could list about a dozen goals that have been as technically good as you can get.

Can anyone defend that performance today? Absolutely spineless, not in the least bit interested.

Very few played well but he should be utterly ashamed of himself.

He hid all day, he does not give a toss.

You’ll get loads of grief for this post but you are bang on.
fucking atrocious and has been for some time but beyond criticism for some reason.
to be fair everyone to a man was dug shite today but Morelos and Kent deserve to get panned for their performances.
how a professional footballer under no pressure from the opposition can misplace a pass to a team mate by 10 yards when only 10 yards away from them is beyond comprehension.

I think he needs played with a 2nd striker n tht 2nd striker doing what Morelos does and Morelos just poaching like Boyd n Miller set up.

Substitutions were terrible today n completely killed the momentum.

Fresh start tomorrow and file that under Gerrard reign
