I agree that’s too far, I have no issue venting on here as many travel far and wide, pay a lot and make a lot of sacrifices to follow us everywhere and for him to think that is bad enough but to say it is just unforgivable but it shouldn’t be something people hurl abuse at him on social media (that said I feel players in general shouldn’t use social media…..I fucking hate Facebook and Twitter absolute poison).

if they knew the hunger was gone they should have requested a transfer or held their own inquest into it…..how can you lose the hunger when you have the chance to make the champions league groups, win successive titles, win your first domestic cup etc. It’s another thing if his deal was up and we said we weren’t renewing it or something, but we’ve offered another deal and he’s holding out for more money.

I get why people are angry about it but it's become far bigger than it should have. It's almost as if people are forgetting about the game to point fingers at Goldson who wasn't even the top 3 worst performers tonight. Everyone needs someone to blame.

But it’s not just this game now is it. The admission that the hunger has gone now starts to join the dots for the season so far, for our manager to do a runner before the roof caved in on his squad “came here with a remit and he’s met that”.

Was goldson the worst performer today? No, however did he show an undying fight to get back into the game through blood, sweat and tears? No.

Remember Amoruso continued playing with a fucking hole in his leg?! That’s what a true Ranger is, utterly committed and dedicated to getting the result or the points.

Bottom line is Goldson isn’t the only one that thinks this way, he was just daft enough to say it in that interview, how many feel this way is the scale of the issues we have and GvB needs to address this pronto.
