Needs to be a fresh start. Whoever Gio picks needs our 100% backing. They're all we have just now, and we need to give Gio a chance to turn things around. Only way we do that is by getting behind the team. Get on the team's back and in effect we're not giving Gio that chance.

If the first half on Thursday is even close to today then Gio and the team will soon hear the fans, it could easily turn very ugly.

Today was embarrassing, people are angry, the idea of keeping Gio out of today has backfired & he's got a very tough job on Thursday now.

Would be completely unhelpful, unless we think it's reasonable to expect Gio to sort all of the issues within 4 days. People need to screw the nut and give him a chance.

Absolutely!! Gio needs time and support to sort this out. Last thing we need is to do is heap pressure on the guy when he hasn’t held a training session yet.

Don't think anybody expects that but after today certain players have lost whatever faith people had left in them

Don't think the blame will be levelled at Gio (be crazy if it was) but a bad start on Thursday won't be tolerated after today.

Its not about blame. It's about giving him a chance. You effectively hamstring him if you get on his team's back before he's given a reasonable chance to address the issues.

It would hard to voice grumblings at the players and for that not to be picked up by the media and turned against Gio in his first game.

I get what your saying but it would be spun in such a way that the media would have a field day. we need to box clever a bit here and not let today’s emotions fuck Gio before he’s had a chance.

Head agrees 100% with your comments.

Heart agrees 90.9% with your comments with the exception being Goldson getting picked. I can't see a way back for him now.

I think he'll come back.

The interview was fine imo, other than his comment about the game being over. But then, that is what someone that has lost his hunger would say, which gets back to his main point.

I think we need a good man manager to get him to where he needs to be, mentally. Apart from anything, and regardless of what we think of him, we're stuck with him just now, during a tough run of games.

In Gio I blindly trust.

Unless we win on Thursday it'll be turned against whoever is in charge, that's the way it is up here with us & the media

Gio's 1st game & he goes in with pressure that we need to win for Europe & to put today behind us, if we don't the rails could easily come off this squad of players

Sadly this isn't his mess to clean up but he's in charge now, we all hope he does well!
