What about St. Mirren and St. Johnstone in the cups, Hamilton and St. Johnstone away in the league, Benfica home and away in Europe?

We gave away late goals quite a few times last season, and plenty more in the seasons before that under Gerrard.

Unfortunately it seems to be a habit he’s left us with.

Its the lack of depth and drop in form too. No Helander, Balogun, Bassey out of position, Barisic & Mcgregor dropped in form. Totally different dynamic with Tav and Barisic sitting further back, so no Jack and Kamara filling the gaps and stopping it even getting to the CB's. It all encourages errors. Surprised its not happened more. Hivs semi and today have been the only real shockers from that perspective.

Was only thinking about the league and forgot about Hamilton, and cant remember St Johnstone?

Fair point well made though. The cups were sickening, similar feeling to today, particularly akin to st mirren after the Davis equaliser.

Benfica was some of the best football and poorest game management I've seen from us.

Aye, we drew away to St. Johnstone in the league in April, Simpson conceded a fact last-minute penalty.

Our game management has been poor stretching all the way back to Warburton (though last season was a slight improvement). We’ll have to see if GVB can improve it.

Getting 55 and stopping the 10 was far more important than this season.

Aye, 30 million quid, and champions league is all very nice, but there is No way that either club will invest that into the playing squad, absolutely no chance.

About a third will be given towards player signings by both clubs.

And as for setting us back 4 or 5 years,that is utter nonsense, this is Scotland, not a club dropping down from the English premier league to the championship.

I can't believe people are attaching the words "pointless" and "meaningless" to the achievement of winning 55.

Getting the 55 and stopping 10 was important, it's done now. If those bastards get that CL money that we did the work for it would be a fucking disaster.

we’ve put the winners of this league in that position. 3 years of graft in the Europa, and although they have helped a little, it’ll be some kick in the balls if they snatch it from us.

I can accept the two first half mistakes, mistakes happen but at 2-3  we had enough time to go on and score 4,5 or 6 and comfortably win.

 

 

Would love to hear the manager grilled on the it's happened since he arrived clearly a tactic. Unfortunately you have guys like Dingwall mumbling out some easy questions
