Imagine us signing a 28 year old with 72 goals in 124 games, in the peak of his career, from Ajax now. You would pay 40 million for a player like that these days.

Just thinking this.

At the time Arveladze wasn't really appreciated as much because we had the likes of De Boer, Ferguson etc. But he would be by far and away the most outstanding player in the squad today.
