Gio will stay but someone needs to carry the can for this season.

Ross Wilson should be joining Robertson, Bisgrove and Graham in getting booted out.

Wilson’s got to carry the can. Largely responsible for us carrying a stale squad into this season and then trying to refresh it with Dialo, Sands, and an unfit Ramsey.

Has he shown you enough to suggest that he deserves to be handed 25 million to rebuild the squad?

He's the manager so he deserves the chance that most managers get to bring in their own players.

If we're just going to rummage around the out of contract market and spend no money then  not sure any manager will turn it around.

Gerrard was huffing and puffing but if he'd stayed we'd have won the league imo, Gio has dismantled any chance we had by mostly being a piss manager, I'd rather have a Scottish guy in next.

Pretty sure Gerrard would’ve found a way to win the league. He wouldn’t have lost two against them in a row.

Has to go at the end of the season for me. People can hold onto their “that mob are shite” comfort blanket all they want but we have absolutely no answer for their intensity, press, patterns and movement. We’re playing rudderless, Caixinha football and have been since the turn of the year.

Tactically he can’t be trusted with this rebuild, and even if you ignore that they will probably give us another sore one this month and have everyone baying for his blood. Even if it’s still Gerrard’s team to you just can’t build anything from that kind of a platform.

Very doubtful any manager will turn it round now.

Gio or someone else.

Like it or not, but they have found a fucking nobody from a footballing backwater who has built a team in 6 months who can batter constantly everyone in Scotland.

We have now handed them £40m for him to go out and improve their squad again, while we flog anyone with an ounce of talent to pay for crocks from Hearts and bargain basement lucky dips.

Shite topic.

Gio got the tactics and Personel right today. Did the OP say otherwise? Most of us were well happy with the lineup.

Just our luck to meet the filth the one day this season when they actually defended.

I am raging that we got beat today, but wanting Gio out when we still have two pieces of silverware to win and with a team he inherited with Morelos  missing is fucking stupid.

Personally I knew after the game the the glitter dome the way it was going to go. These players time and time again haven’t delivered when it mattered so why would anything be any different now.

Massive overhaul required in the summer but we don’t have the funds, knowledge or expertise to do it. Sickening. Back to square one. The fact that they are a bawhair from yet another treble is absolute disastrous stuff on our part.

Gerrard threw the league away the season before last and got more of a chance than any other manager would.

It's a little harsh to fire a manager without him having a transfer window but I think his man-management of players has been his biggest failure. He has run Morelos, Aribo & Kent into the ground.

I would be on the phone with Beale. I think he would take it.

He had January.

Great, so thats all their is to being a manager. Pick a lineup that most on a forum agree with and you are the best, regardless of results.

Walter Smith often picked lineups with about 7 centre halfs in it that everyone hated the fucking look of, only to get us to another title.

A good manager will coach his players to play above the level expected of them. Gio does the opposite.

We don't have 25 million to rebuild a squad. It'll be championship/league 1 bosmans, maybe some from Eredivise, and a maybe one or two signed for £2millionish. We're taking a trip back to Warburton days with the likes of Rob Kiernans etc.

The only positive is this season will solidify his position as manager there. Even if he adds quality, he builds eminently beatable sides because of his commitment to a specific structure. A tactically ingenious manager (like Knutsen) could beat him over a season with a worse squad. It’s absolutely imperative we find a manager like that because our squad isn’t going to get better this summer.

Gerrard left us 6 points ahead…

Gvb has taken over a title winning team, 6 points ahead and in roughly half a season put us 6 points behind. That is shocking form and would see any manager sacked at any club.

Get rid, get a new manger in to see what he’s working with the last few games and re build in the summer.

What 2 peices of silverware?

Leagues done, 7 points effectively with a game at theirs to come.

Funny how it's always bad luck when Gio makes a roaring cunt of it....he was made to look a jobber yet again by some goon from a footballing backwater.

The thread is entirely relevant when your manager is punting out Pedro Caxhina numbers.

The no surrender pish won't wash now

GIO will and should get to build his own team. he,s doing a job with someone else's team.

the board should take the heat for the january window. Also shagger should be dropped now. he cost us again imo he gets rooted to his line and that push out to Rogic.

altho Gio should never have took Ramsey off.
