Not sure we should be starting Wilson to be honest. It's clear he's got no intention of staying with us after this season, which is his choice and I don't blame him for that decision.

But we should be focussing on the players that actually want to be at the club and we should use the occasion to develop players we hope can eventually make a breakthrough at Rangers in the future.

Yeah he's not been bad at all, but he doesn't absolutely stand out as you would expect from the hype.

He seems to be a very good finisher and obviously finds himself in the right position in the box more often than not, maybe he can develop into a Kris Boyd style player but to be a striker at the very top level you need pace, power and skill to go with finishing ability, in the few games I've seen Wilson in he doesn't seem to have that in his locker.

I watched one of the Scottish youth games with Wilson involved and although Wilson scored 2, Ben Doak who is leaving the tarriers was by far the standout. Watching games with other supposed Scottish wonderkids Islam Feruz, Billy Gilmour, John Fleck they all absolutely stood out any time I watched them for Rangers or Scotland youth teams.

First I’ve watched him tbh and as you say I was expecting an absolute stand out given the hype, nice goal though

He's definitely a decent finisher though and did well to get space in the box.  A player who can put the ball in the net as often as he does will always attract attention.

He’s just turned 16 and is playing a year above himself for Scotland.

He’s razor quick so no idea where you dont he doesn’t have that in his locker from.
