The calibre of team we can get in the draw (currently): Club Brugge/PAOK/PSV/Sturm Graz - leagues are still ongoing and there's still a race for 2nd in some of these countries

We'll be seeded, but being seeded doesn't really impact on the difficulty of the draw sadly.

We are going to need to do our business really early in the window mate and hope the draw is kind - would much rather a Sturm Graz than a Club Brugge. Entering at round 3 helps, it means the league will start the weekend before the 1st leg so we'll have had a full pre-season in and a competitive domestic game

With the levels we've hit in Europe this season there's no reason to assume we've no chance. The looming rebuild might be a problem though.

No, automatically into the groups and we'd be Pot 1 seeds (based on the seeding of teams in last year's tournament)

It just says we can't not reach groups. 

if we lose the CL 3rd round we go into the EL play off, the same as this year, and if we lose that, we go into the ECL groups. Unless it's changed

No - this year we were in the Champions route, losers of that in QR3 fall into the Europa play-off, but we'd be in the League path this year and the losers of this fall into the groups of the Europa

On one hand its good we dont need to worry about Q2, on the other hand we will likely be behind fitness wise to our Q3 opponent's.

Also lose extra country coefficient points and revenue from ticket sales.

Wouldn't have mattered if we hadn't shit the bed in the league. Them benefitting from our euro success is entirely on us, not the unfairness of the system.

They've won more coefficient points towards the automatic qualification. 

Although that will be in a 5 year window which will start from when we were still shit. In the last 3/4 years then yes we would have contributed more it's irrelevant anyway. It's out fault we fucked the league up. We both started on 0 points and had the same prize at the end of it.
