I'm surprised there isn't a topic on this already.   What was the point of recalling his loan if he's not going to play ahead of Sakala or is there something going on behind the scenes?  I would have thought his brute physicality would have been worth something if nothing else.

It seems odd to make him come in and get stripped just to sit on the bench if he really is convalescing.   Almost like a punishment.

He has only recently made the bench because Morelos, Roofe and Ramsey are injured otherwise he would be nowhere near the bench. Too many better players are ahead of him.

I actually seen something from Sakala when he played through the middle against the tarriers. Slated him for weeks but he actually won his fair share of headers and got into some good attacking positions. Still very raw but I think you get more from Sakala through the middle than Itten who for me, losses about 2ft when he goes for headers. Both probably not good enough though.

He cause them absolute havoc in that second half. They didn't know what was running at them

His goals per 90 is up there with Roofe and Alfie. With a bit of fine tuning and good coaching he could turn out to be a very good player for us.

He got recalled cos the board told Gio he had no money to spend on a striker in January and Roofe was injured and he got the heads up from the Colombia manager that Morelos was going to be called up so Itten was basically the only option
