Kit for the final

Frankfurt are designated the home side and their home strip is black. Uefa have a tendency to seek total contrasts between team kits.

Will they view royal blue too close to black? In my line of work i've had to specify colours that assist partially blind users and there is a colour matrix which you use to ensure a clear contrast. Black and blue tend to be avoided as a combination.

Cant' wear the purple kit either (thankfully) as it has black shorts.

So, does anyone know if  we can wear the founding fathers/150th anniversary kit?

unfortunately royal blue and black clash if you're partially sighted so i reckon UEFA wont be too keen. When ever i had to detail colour schemes for schools etc at work we had to refer to a formula involving a colour matrix to ensure clear contrast in toilets, corridors etc. Thats why if you ever use a disabled bog in a new school/college/sports centre the grab rails and the toilet seat are black or blue and not white. Its to stop near blind folk shitting on the floor :)

You would like to think so but as designated home team Frankfurt have every right to insist they wear their home colours, as we would do (i'd like to think anyway).

Cant see UEFA being too keen on us rocking up in a lilac top with white shorts with blue detailing and white socks (basically a kit combination we have NEVER played in), but stranger things have happened. Hopefully common sense prevails and Royal blue and black can play together but i cant recall seeing that in any UEFA major competition over the last 30 years. Happy to be proved wrong tho :)
