five stars 1,432
I know very little about Frankfurt other than watching highlights of their last couple of Europa league games and doing a quick Google search. Starting this topic for those with knowledge of their teams/players strengths and weaknesses and how we should set up against them. five stars 1,432
Filip Kostic looks a threat down the wing. Seems able to pick out teammates with crosses and set pieces.
Prso's headband 29,855
Kostic is the star, they don’t have that much attacking firepower and rarely get beat when scoring first I think. Tav vs Kostic could genuinely be key to the whole game. five stars likes this
Dave55 7
Their Colombian striker Santos borre. Sure we were linked with him a couple of seasons back around the time we signed Kemar Roofe! kelvd1873 and five stars like this
ScottBF2 3,261
They’ve lost Hinteregger for the final, big goal threat from corners and a rock at the back for them. Evan N’Dicka is their next best defender and he’s solid as well. five stars likes this
ScottBF2 3,261
They can line up very similar to RB Leipzig, so will be interesting to see how they approach the final. 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 has been used at times this season. five stars and BlueVanguard like this
five stars 1,432
Evan N'Dicka at left centre back is supposedly a transfer target for various English clubs including Man United. He'll be dangerous at set plays so presumably it'll be Goldson marking him.

Knowing us at defending set pieces Scott Wright will be defending against N’Dicka
Brackley Bluenose 4,147
They’ve been playing counter attacking football throughout from what I’ve read. Even when West Ham went down to 10 the other night they scored their goal and didn’t have another chance in the game. Sounds a bit like how we got to the final in 2008. five stars likes this
five stars 1,432
They seem to score many of their goals on counter attacks and have more wins away from home than in their own ground this season. I think tactics could be very important for this game. It'll be interesting to see if we put out an attack minded team (that leaves us open to the counter). Or try a more defensive approach? RWB72 1,104
Injury updates: "Hinteregger has suffered a major muscle injury, which means he is out for the season," said Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner today. "That's a shame for Martin and for us," added the coach. Glasner also provided an injury update on Djibril Sow, Rafael Borre and Jens Petter Hauge. "Djibril Sow broke his nose. We have to see how we deal with it, whether he gets a mask. Borre and Hauge are both feeling a bit of pinching. We will not risk any muscle injuries," he said.https://bulinews.com/news/12527/hinteregger-miss-the-rest-the-season Orange and Blue likes this
Dave55 7
It's going to be difficult. Their star players or tactics dont matter. Their run to the final is more impressive than ours. Beaten west ham, Barcelona and betis as opposed to leipzig, braga and red star.

However, if we play with the level of commitment and aggression that we have showed in the last 3 weeks I would fancy our chances👍 delparlane likes this
