That's a blow we dont know yet, Gio will give him right up to the final to try prove his fitness. Not ideal tho, as he tends to take a while to get up to speed/match sharp. barrymorrison1 and middli

Roofe should be straight in and Wright on the bench. Whatever Gio does though then he has earned our trust. ronniescu, magic8ball and gmcf

I can't find any official UEFA protocol for a specific timescale a player is not allowed to play after a concussion. Seems to be up to the club doctor to make the call if he's happy the proper tests have been carried out, depending on the severity of the concussion. I might be totally wrong of course, I'm sure somebody on here will know the official policy. Remember as well Aribo suffered a nasty head injury a few years back against Livingston, so there might be a longer recovery period due to that. Only ruling I can see on this is from the epl which states: The FA and Premier League have set out clear 'return to play' guidelines for players who are suspected to have suffered concussion. Essentially, no player will be allowed to return for a competitive game for at least six days. There is no blood test or scan which can diagnose concussion. Diagnosis is made on the basis of history and examination. The guidelines work on a step-by-step basis, with a player only allowed to progress a step every 24 hours - although this process can often take longer. The steps are: No physical activity, light aerobic exercise, sport specific exercise, non-contact training drills, full contact training, return to play (after an all-clear from the club's medical officer). 6superbarry6 and Ayrshire Blue
