PromDeAnglais 5,446
It's officially the off season. Thought I'd keep a thread up to date over the summer with incoming and outgoing players. Think it'll be one of our busiest summers in quite some time, with probably news within the next few days of players leaving. BlueKnight87 17,242
It's a huge rebuild ahead. GK. Do we go with McLaughlin as no 1 or add. CB. Going to need at least 2. Need to spend on a replacement for Goldson. CM. Need to add goal scoring midfielder. Front 3. Badly need more goals. Players that are comfortable in this area and can hit double figures. NorthernLights 2,526
Looking forward to refreshing the transfer forum every half hour once it has opened up BlueKnight87, Lundstram-nutmegged-my-dog and Clunge
Iakona 2,244
With the likelihood of Aribo, Morelos, Kamara, Barasic and now possibly Bassey attracting interest - in addition to Davis, Goldson and McGregor leaving... there could be a massive rebuild required here. Hopefully those involved in getting transfers over the line, do so quickly. MillwallLoyal and PromDeAnglais
DarnleyLoyal 69
Can we just get the transfer forum open again admin? Just feels like the natural end of cycle for this squad and will be a big overhaul. I think we will bring in plenty funds for players from sales on top of our European cash this year we should be in a strong position to rebuild the squad. Got alot more faith in Gio now to improve and win with whoever we have/get and really put his stamp in the team than I was 3 months ago. DarnleyLoyal 69
Also think we get a record fee for Bassey this summer. 25+mill Lundstram-nutmegged-my-dog

Met Stephen Kelly in Ibiza on route to Seville, safe to say hes away, has 1 year left on his contract he said. Has done well at Salford city i hear... Unfortunate for him at 21 that Gio and his staff were not around when he was 18/19 like Gio and his staff are doing now Straight-Edge-Loyal

CD7 17
Keeper, left back, box to box midfielder, a right winger and a striker that can actually finish and stay fit.
WilliamMunny 3,181
You'd imagine some of our players on their final year will be looking to be sold too. Big transfer window ahead. PromDeAnglais

JM1872 3,694
Our biggest window since Gerrard arrived imo. It’s absolutely imperative we come out of it stronger than we go into it. To regress would be totally unacceptable. PromDeAnglais and sausagetrunks

McEwan's Lager 30,259
Hard to know at this stage what we should be doing without knowing who is leaving for definite. Obviously that’s from a fans point of view I’m sure Gio has a plan for what he wants out of it from Wilson and the board.

NorthernLights 2,526
Never easy to inherit a squad. We should have won the league but that’s done now. Looking forward to Gio putting his stamp on the team

Supersonic 4,654
Whatever it is, it needs done pronto to hit the ground running for qualifiers and the league. I hope, naively I guess, they back Gio more than Gerrard. He's done more than enough, especially given the context of getting an injury fucked squad one mistake away from winning the Europa League final and winning the Scottish Cup. We've still got a scary amount of deadwood on the books as well. Hope to fuck it's a good summer. PromDeAnglais
