Popular Post GabrielTomato 32,370
Looked fantastic today. Marshalled their defence, stopped so many of our potential attacks and brought the ball forward very well. If he can stay fit he looks to be very astute business (this is the biggest ? against him). G.E.C. 14,174
The way he’s handled himself mentally ever since signing the pre contract deserves a lot credit as well. Malkytfp1, terry739, HalifaxBear and 1 other like this
Goianegra 4,332
Needs a poll imo. Is he started for us or not? Should we be looking for better or does it depend on who stays? Big decisions to be made, but I like what I seen today.

Valance1690 3,133
Good signing to have already in the door, can't see him being a nailed on starter but suppose it depends what business we do in the summer. magic8ball likes this

Think he will start on the right hand side and I wouldn’t be surprised if we go for Wesley Hoedt (who was tenuously linked in January) to replace Goldson as they are very similar in playing styles and distribution on the left hand side of the centre defence. SPWF 4,614
Gives you everything Goldson doesn’t. If a Gio has a left sided ball playing Dutch centre half in mind to go alongside him we could be on onto a winner. graeme_4 and Ayrshire Blue like this
bam74 319
Thought he had an excellent game. Good in the air, lots of blocks and also looked surprisingly good with the ball at his feet. Will be a good signing for us. MurrayWilson likes this
JM1872 3,306
Looking forward to him getting started. Just one point though - I really hope he can deliver the volume of games that Goldson and Tav do. We have had our fair share of injury prone players over the last 4 years. Real Ranger and terry739 like this

Umpteen unchallenged crosses he cleared. Did match Sakaka for pace at the end, tbf. J-Maestro likes this

Canabear 3,465
Souttar was very very impressive and when you consider that was his first game since March the 5th it's even more impressive. I can hardly wait till our science team get their hands on him , it'll do his fitness and injury woes the World of good.

The Godfather 55,299
He was their best player. Hopefully has more about him than Webster who also came in as their best. RFC55 and TamCoopz like this
SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 5,456
I think Balogun will probably sign on for another year. But even then I still think we need to be spending a fair amount on a quality centre back this summer. We can’t go from an ever present like Goldson into next season with Helander, Balogun & Souttar as 3 of 4 our main centre backs, chances are all 3 of them will be spending a quarter of the season out injured at a minimum. King, Helander, Souttar, Balogun & £3 to 5 Million on a quality centre back (someone like Doekhi on a free would’ve been ideal)
NorthernLights 1,634
Think Gordon was their best player but hoping Souttar can be a solid 3rd CB at the least
Bristol loyal 6,246
Need someone of quality to next to him providing Goldson goes but after watching him today I wouldn’t have any worried with him in our starting line up.

Jakes Pal 3,443
Steps right in to Goldsons position. Good bit of business as long as the medical staff have called it right, we have had more than our fair share of signing crocks.
Goofy The Scot 340
Souttar's always looked like a quality centre half, only questions have been about his fitness. If he stays fit then i think he's a damn good signing personally, and it helps with the home-grown player quota for Europe.
